SWSA are very pleased to welcome Loch Ryan Sailing Club to the town. After many successful years operating from Whig Bay recent challenges have brought the sailing club back into the town. SWSA have negotiated storage for boats in the hard standing by the slipway. The move of the club brings together Sailing, Skiff rowing, Kayaking, Standup Paddle Boarding and Open Water Swimming all from within the town.

LRSC remains an independent club with it's own committee, however it's affiliation with SWSA allows us share centralised costs such as insurance and services. The move also helps with the potential opportunities for all water sports based in Stranraer.
