RYA Level 1 - Start Sailing

This 2 day course is designed to get you on the water. This course provides the perfect introduction to the sport of sailing and covers all of the information that will allow you to get out on the water under supervision and provides basic boat handling techniques.
RYA Level 2 - Basic Skills

Description:
This 2 day course is designed to make you a competent sailor in calm conditions. Sailing techniques, manoeuvres, rigging, launching, safety, capsize recovery and basic rules of the road will be covered.
RYA Level 3 - Better Sailing

Description:
This 2 day course is for intermediate sailors who really want to develop their skills. This course builds on the theory and practical elements covered in the two previous levels and act as a stepping stone into more advanced sailing courses.
RYA Youth Stage 1

Description:
This 2 day course is designed to introduce you to the sport of sailing. You will gain the basic knowledge that will allow you to get afloat. In this course you will learn how to launch and land with assistance, sail across the wind, turning, steering and gain a better understand the basic parts of a boat.

This 2 day course is designed to build your sailing confidence and boat control. During this course you will cover boat turning in more depth, rope work and collision avoidance.
RYA Youth stage 3

This 2 day course is designed to hone your sailing skills. In this course you will cover rigging in more depth, more advanced sailing theory, launching and landing, learn more about sailing on all points of sail and capsize recovery.
RYA youth stage 4

This 2 day course is designed to provide the skills needed to be a competent sailor in all boats. You will learn how to launch and land in more challenging conditions and use what you have learnt in the previous three levels to enable you to crew a boat, enhanced rigging, and the practical skills needed to recover a man overboard.
